FARM MONTAIONE: Agritourism Montaione are thriving holiday cottages,
that started more than 10 years ago. Only 1 km far from the centre
of Montaione, in a park surrounded by vines and olives, there is Agritourism
'Montaione' for a holiday between quiet, nature and culture. Directly
inside farm’s wine-cellar guests have the possibility to taste products
of the farm, among them the excellent Chianti D.O.C.G., the great
Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the typical Vinsanto. At Guests' disposal
stay : 2 swimming pools, tennis court, season fruits and vegetables
ploughed in the farm.
VILLAS: Set among the green hills of Tuscan countryside, 1 Km far
from the small medieval village of Montaione, is displaced the 3 villas
of the agritourism 'Montaione'. The 3 villas forming this building
complex are surrounded by a huge wide park, well cured and with an
unique charm. Each fitting has been carefully planned and cured for
both architectural structure and interior furniture. Every kind of
comfort is at our guests’ disposal, such as sat-TV, fireplace with
firewood, dishwasher in each kitchen,Jacuzzi bathtub; outdoor the
relax is assured with solarium and swimming pool, where you can spend
moments of perfect peace. In the park there is also a small lake where
fishing. For privacy and security of our guests, the area is fully
enclosed, so access is controlled by an automatic gate, for which
guests will be provided of remote control. At our guests’ disposal
there are also season fruit and vegetables growing in the garden area
reserved for cultivation. Those who want to combine relax with other
activities surely will be not disappointed; Montaione surroundings
offer several choices: it is possible to plan horse riding, MTBike
ride, golf playing, wine-and other farm products-tasting.
APARTMENTS: there are 5 apartments and 2 farmhouses for a holiday
between quiet, nature and culture. Directly inside farm’ s wine-cellar
guests have the possibility to taste products of the farm, among them
the excellent Chianti D.O.C.G., the great Extra Virgin Olive Oil and
the typical Vinsanto. At Guests' disposal stay : 2 swimming pools,
tennis court, season fruits and vegetables ploughed in the farm.
SERVICES: Numberless towns and villages are easy to visit in the area
nearby Montaione: besides famous art cities as Florence, Pisa, Siena
and Lucca, reachable in about one hour by car, there are in the surroundings
medieval towns, such as San Gimignano, Volterra and San Miniato. San
Gimignano (15 Km) Volterra (25 Km) Firenze (50 Km) Siena (50 Km) Pisa
(50 Km). It worths a special mention the monastric buildings in San
Vivaldo and its Holy Mount, just 5 Km far from Montaione. It shows,
with a set of chapels, a smaller copy of Jerusalem at the crusades’
age. The nearest railway station is in Castelfiorentino (10 km away
from the residence) or in Florence. The nearest airports are Pisa
airport Galileo Galilei and Amerigo Vespucci in Florence ( both about
50 Km away from the residence ). The Farm Montaione has a tennis court
and 2 swimming-pool with a wide solarium area adjoining. Inside the
park a broad area has turned into a private parking. At guest's disposal
there is a big park; an area is planted with fruit trees and vegetables;
guests have free access to this area. In the farm Montaione are ploughed
vines and olive trees. At Residence's reception it is possible to
buy, with the very price of the wine cellar, genuine farm products:
Wine Chianti, San Giovese, White wine ~ Extra Vergine olive oil ~
Vinsanto (dessert wine) ~ Grappa ~ Spumante (champagne). Each cottage
is equipped with: Kitchen with kitchenware TV - SAT Direct telephone
Fireplace Heating Private garden with garden forniture. The guests
can make their shop in Montaione (1 Km far from the residence) or
in Castelfiorentino (10 Km far from the residence).

WEEKLY PRICES €: The rates
included: use of the swimming pool and the solarium, tennis, fireplace,
heating, electricity, water, washing machine, final cleaning of
the apartment, weekly change of the linen for the bath, the bedrooms
and the kitchen. Check-in: every saturday from the 16:00 to the

The fitting level of this small house is the same of the other
3 villas and it is the optimal lodging for a couple that wants
to spend holidays between elegance and peacefulness. The apartment
Rossini has a double bedroom , one bathroom with shower and
a big living room with kitchen. Here there are also two chair-beds

the total area of this flat is even 220 m2, on the same floor
( ground floor ), with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also here
fittings level and interiors are well cured and integrated into
the architectural setting, the typical one of Tuscan country
villas: ceiling with visible roof beams, terracotta-tiled floor,
and well arranged arches. The kitchen is in masonry style, fully
equipped with electric household appliances (dishwasher, too);
it is included also a barbecue, in order to cook easily grilled
food. Remarkably beautiful is the fireplace in old stone, towering

When one enters, the eye is caught at first by ceilings, that
practically in every room are vaulted, and particularly the
living room is cross vaulted in a really wonderful way. The
masonry kitchen is well equipped, with fridge and wide freezer,
cooker with 4 burners, oven, dishwasher and barbecue framed
into the structure of the stove. Remarkably large and charming
is the upper floor bathroom, where is placed a great bathtub
